We should decide how to public fund this community. We:
-Do not want to bankrupt our founder.
-Do not want to rely on a single person/organization.
-Pubic funding to automatically or voting for hosting/discourse payment.
May be patreon will work, but need to investigate. Any ideas?
I’ve confirmed Vortex can pay some months. So not in a hurry for this. 
Ko-Fi could be an alternative to patreon as they don’t take a cut on one-time payments.
A search for Ko-Fi alternatives also brought up Buy Me a Coffee, which charges a flat 5% fee but offers some customization and broader feature sets out of the box, where with Ko-Fi you would need to pay $6 a month for that.
